Funny how people refer to Hebert as a "Back up". 25 career starts with the most game experience amongst all of our OL. He & Blackwell are our OL Leaders who are the "go to" guys when things have to be shuffled because of injury. Notice who calls the OL calls regardless if he playing C or G. Gonna be nice to get PJ back at C so Hebert can slide back to LG. The line up we started with against Oregon are our very best 5 all around right now & give us our best shot on Nov 5th.

T-Bob Hebert is one of several Tigers who have come a very long way and come through adversity to contribute to the success of this team.

Every great team has its shining super stars but it also has it's rock solid players that are the core of the team.

To me these players epitomize what it means to be an LSU Tiger. They make watching the game more enjoyable.

So to T-Bob and to all the unsung heroes on the team:

so if i prefer Willa Ford to watching T Bob get blown back into the backfield every play then it means i got cut from the 7th grade team?

Hurst is playing RT. Who would you have there? Hurst at G and Shaw at RT? Why not Hurst at RT still, and leave Blackwell and Williford alone in the G slots?

T-Bob is better than most on here give him credit for. He's a solid guard and a competent backup center. Many teams would love to have somebody like him on their 2-deep chart. It's just he's a notch or so lower in talent than our (ETA: other) full-time starters.
This is why I think T-Bob may make it into NFL. Lots of teams looking for those versatile lineman that can play 2-3 positions if called upon, wouldn't be surprised to see an NFL team pick him and work with him.

Damn, you people lack perspective! T-Bob had a terrible game at Tenn., but was better last week. He's not a starter but does really well in his back up role. He's a solid guy at guard, but not an all american or anything.

As far as being an Hebert, that probably helped get his name out originally, but he was a Rivals250 guy and four star rated center. He was a big recruiting prospect. The fact that his family was from here probably helped as well.

Hurst, Blackwell, PJ, Hebert, Faulk, Williford, & Shaw are all awesome to watch. True definition of a "Wanna Be" Is Max!

Didn't he play Georgia High School football? I think the name thing is a big reach and there seems to be some misconceptions about TBH before he got to campus.

I still can't believe his name is actually T-Bob. Crazy. What really freaks me the f*ck out is how accepting of it everyone else seems be. I mean, okay, you got T-Pain, but that's not his real name.

T-Bob has a medial collateral ligament strain. This has hampered his play. He may not be a starter and a string of injuries has plagued him from day one, but he gives us depth, experience and a topic for the Rant.
