I watched LSU-Auburn Saturday at Baseball Tavern in Boston and it was great. Those summbitches can party.

I HIGHLY recommend The Baseball Taven. Great time.

PS- TigerBabe may or may not have danced on the bar.

Legends in NYC was the best LSU bar I have ever been to for a game.

I lived in Boston and would recommend that group to watch a game with. Back in the day ('99-'04), we had some great times at Champs in the Marriott, but now it looks like they're at the Baseball Tavern.

I will echo all those saying Legends in NYC. If you can't be at the game, there is no better place to be.

Baseball Tavern in Boston is pretty cool. Pretty much across the street from Fenway. I watched the Oregon game there and had a great time.

+1. It was packed for the Oregon game and I'm sure it will be as well for Bama. Someone from the LSU Alumni Association said the bar is owned by a former LSU lineman.

ETA: It is actually Oregon's alumni bar, too (there are several levels, with LSU's being the largest), but I didn't see one Oregon fan there for the first game.

I will be at Legends with a group from New Orleans. A couple of us are running the marathon Sunday.

Posted by Mo Jeaux Where are you? I just moved the Essex County. Lived in the city for years. I'm likely heading in to legends for the game, but I sympathize with waiting to watch at home.

Morris county! Right next door.

I'm in Connecticut for grad school (d*mn yanks and their cold weather) and figured I'd watch Nov. 5th championship in New York or Boston since both are the same distance from me.

Any suggestion for the best alumni/LSU-friendly bar around there?

Without a doubt, NYC. NYC has the funnest alum bar outside of the south.

I lived in San Francisco for three years and the alum bar in SF is absolutely blown away by Legends in NYC. Hell, I'll put it on the line and say it blows away the Houston and Chicageaux Alum bars.

Talked to a married couple visiting from Lafayette last weekend for the Auburn game...they loved it here. They told me they didnt expect it to be that rowdy and that invovled. They play all the down songs, Callin Baton Rouge, Louisiana Saturday Night, and random songs to turn it into a damn club (Cash Money songs and other good songs that get girls shaking their arse. $5 Hurricanes and Louisiana Lightnings (Firefly and Lemonade).

In fact, ESPN Gameday did a segment on the LSU alum and Bama alum bars in NYC this past weekend. Jeremy Shapp stopped by to do the segment. It'll most likely be on the Nov 5 Gameday

Last year, Charles Scott and Eric Alexander would stop by the NYC bar. You absolutely won't regret choosing the NYC bar.

Awesome. I'm in New Haven for law school.

Thanks everyone for the help. With all the suggestions looks like I'll definitely be heading to either Legends (NY) or Baseball Tavern (Boston)--not sure which one yet. I'll get to both before the end of the season no matter what.

'Preciate it ya'll. Geaux Tigers!
