Long but very informative article out of St Louis gives the latest word on MU's move to the SEC and the complexities that such a move entails. No wonder it's taking so long.

[quote]Deaton said a move to the SEC would not be just about money, which an MU analysis leaked to The Associated Press said would mean at least $2 million more a year and potentially up to $12 million more annually than the $17.16 it projects to make in the Big 12 next year. Read more: LINK ]

Damn that's a lot.

Yep. It has been a convoluted process.

Check out the video attached to this story. Our chancellor wants SO badly to say we are gone but just cant quite do so yet.

Also, notice the shite eating grin.

MU Chancellor comments

The University of Missouri is ecstatic about the move to the SEC contrary to some spin about the SEC being our "second choice"

This entire process is pure bullshite. Schools are jumping conferences left and right. We try to go to the SEC, and Ken Starr threatens to sue. Shortly after that, Bevo and Bitches invite TCU, exactly what they've threatened to sue the SEC over, but they do it publicly. Now, while in the middle of trying to hold Mizzou hostage, they poach WVU from the Big East. It's absolutely unreal.

Oh, but everyone that leaves that dysfunctional shite heap of a conference is disloyal and must be punished.

"We wish them the best in all that", sounds like MU is gone.

You left out we're not worth a crap and replacable too.

Boy what I would pay to see the Aggies and Tigers join together in the middle of field Saturday after the game on camera and start an SEC chant together.

Excellent post!

The double standard that the Big 12 is operating under is proof positive of the arrogance and contempt that that league (we all know where this comes from...don't we?)shows towards everyone, even their own,is amazing. They have exhibited this for some time now. I'm so sick of UT and all of their bullshite.
I can't wait until those pansy asses at UT field a decent team and can crawl back into a major bowl and hopefully meet LSU. If you thought the arse whipping Bama put on them was bad, more than their QB will lay down on this one!

Not until we win. Sorry, but you need to rely on beating the two schools that are going to shite on you the most (Baylor and t.u.) to get bowl eligible.

Well this might be the year you guys do win. If you're defensive line gets close enough to our inexperienced QB Franklin and scream he may just hand them the ball like he did against OSU. Boy I miss Gabbert!!

The way Franklin has played is frustrating. He shows flashes of being a great QB but then makes too many mistakes to win. I do hope it is just a learning curve and he turns out to be OK but he's scaring me right now.

Our OL is playing MUCH better than when we played you last year...and so is the QB. In fact, ever since Eike got injured, the line has been about 4 orders of magnitude better.

I will say though that having 12-point spread makes me EXTREMELY nervous...even at Kyle.

Mizzou would be better served to stay in the B12 to preserve your recruiting of Texas talent like Gabbert. Especially if Mizzou to the East and not permanant (if there are permanants) with A&M...

12-point spread

Vegas this year has me completely perplexed.

They seem to have a very high opinion of the Aggies. 10 points vs baylor, 22 over iowa st, 12 vs mizzou? I just don't get it.

It would be forever immortalized. Wish I could see the look on the Big 12 AD's face when they saw it, too. Imagine a montage of the AD's faces next to the Ags/Tigers chanting "SEC" on Saturday.

Priceless.
