I too was wrong about Les. Part of it is due to his new hires, but he is managing the game much better this year. Not making dumb mistakes that wil cost you a game.

True everyone has fujckked it up at some point just sayin you can't sweep all that under the rug its part of recorded history. I was right about that and I have given Les his props for this year too.

Balance.

Speaking of fricking up, weren't we supposed to beat Iowa handily in that bowl game? Oh wait, I forgot that Saban was busy trying to figure out what defense he was gonna run in Miami.

No kidding. That was the negamiles's most used phrase to cover their asses.

"I think miles is a shitty coach... Hope I'm wrong."

Cop. Out.

I was wrong, but I still think he wasted talent the last 3 years due to keeping Crowton and and that whole co def. coordinator thing.

I would have bet money that Les could never field a team this good.

I knew he could field a team this good for one game at a time when he had plenty of time to prepare, but I didn't think he was capable of fielding a team that played at this high a level for eight games in a row without extra time to prepare. Nick Saban could not have done any better.

Disagree. Crowton's offense helped us win a championship and he was fairly given his chance to turn things around which he didn't. The co-DC situation allowed him to wait another year for a replacement which allowed John Chavis to fall into his lap.

Les has done very well and proved.a few of us wrong but his frick ups are recorded on TV and can't be just simply forgotten.

Yeah I totally agree............remember that time Saban lost to UAB or better yet ULM?

Les shits non conference wins after a bad gumbo.

But you are right who can forget OM 2009? or that win against UT last year?

No BCS team has done a better job of winning since 2005 than LSU.

Miles is the most successful coach in LSU history and has been for awhile.

When the most successful you ever had continues to win better than any before him and that is not enough for some then the problem is not Miles but those unable to embrace the excellence of his success for what it is....freaking unbelievable!

I will admit I've had times I've wanted him gone.
2005 Tennessee - coming off a miracle win over Arizona State and blowing the lead against Tennessee was bad. Didn't think he could handle it.
2008 was a tough season, and I questioned him a few times that season for sure. Maleveto
2009 Living in Mississippi it is tough losing to Ole Miss. Especially twice in a row in the manner we lost.
2010 Tennessee. We stole that one for sure.
All and all its been a great seven years of LSU football and I'm proud to have Les as out coach. I think he's just f&#@ing with us sometimes with the heart attack games. There is no way we should have won as many of those as we have. I've come to the realization Miles knows more than we think he does.

I admit it
In all my years of watching LSU win/lose or whatever, since Dietzel and especially since Cholly Mac days, I've never enjoyed watching a coach and team play as much as I am enjoying this year's LSU team and coaching staff.

Coach Miles has put together a great staff and team. Thanks Coach(es) and team. It's a great time to be a Tiger fan!

Well, you were not alone. After Old Miss and Tenn, there were lots of clift jumping going on.

After 3 of best years in our history, 05-07, he earned a lot of good will with me and I cut him some slack after losing RP and Pelini for 08.

The guy is not perfect, but I don't look for perfect. 70-17 is ok with me, but then I was here suffering though the 7 losing seasons in the 90ies.

So, after that, even 08 and 09 looked pretty dang good to me.

I can't help but wonder if Crowton was what was wrong with this team in recent years.
