Apparently, Holly Anderson thinks that the Fiesta bowl will be LSU vs Boise State and here's an interesting bit from Mandel.

Its is possible that if Bama loses to the SECe team, their BCS ranking would be lower than LSU

Bama beats SC,SC goes to Sugar,LSU vs. Boise ST. to the Fiesta.
Fiesta would love to have Boise again after that Boise/Oklahoma game.
Probably a stretch to say LSU gets an invite to the Fiesta.
I believe Boise poses problems for LSU's secondary.

Fiesta can not happen, we either 1-go to the MNC or 2- Sugar Bowl, if LSU doesnot make eiother of those, there is still the rule about 2 conference teams to BCS bowls. If LSU is neither in senario 1 or 2 then it is Cap 1 or Cotton

Isn't there still a two-team per-conference limit for the BCS? I believe if SC were to get the Sugar then LSU would be left out of the BCS in that scenario.

Nope, LSU would still be a higher ranked BCS team than the loser of the SECCG.
