“He’s like a Roly Poly. He just bounces off, goes into a ball and keeps getting more yards,” LSU offensive lineman Will Blackwell said. “I love to block for Spencer.”

Great article. Hopefully now we all realize the idea of throwing the ball 35-40 times per game just for sport is not going to happen unless we're in serious trouble. That's just not what we do. Smash-mouth football is what we do along with an efficient passing game.

He runs with a want. That is why Spencer is so valuable to us as a runner.

A caution warning should come along with Spencer Ware. Attention: BeWare- violent runner comin towards you, seek shelter!

And lest we forget - despite Miles' "sincere" comment (and I don't think he was trying to be offensive, and I don't think his players are offended - after all, he's a Michigan Alum from Elyria, OH) - Ware is from Ohio, Ridley is from Mississippi, Addai is from Texas - despite LSU's reputation for producing great RBs - we've had great production at the position from out of state players.

Did it mention he is not in the same league as Richardson.

No, but i think this is the same guy that wanted to marry bama and date LSU.

I am glad he went there. A lot of our fans just don't understand the concept of how our offense works and keep expecting that one day we are going to just start throwing the ball 50 times a game. The formula Les uses has won a lot of coaches a lot of games (and championships)...outstanding, PHYSICAL running game that wears the opponent out + efficient QB + bad-arse defense + special teams dominance = LOTS OF WINS.

I think they understand. They're just a little drunk and bored, so gripe.

Take it as a life advice..."You have to want the want if you want to be somebody in life!"

A quote from the article:
He (Ware) is also valuable because he allows the other running backs in the offense to be almost as effective. Ware starts the beating, while Michael Ford and Alfred Blue finish it off to give defenses a nightmarish rushing enemy. Add in the legs of quarterback Jordan Jefferson, and the Tigers are averaging 191 rushing yards a game.
