Auburn's Defense (Or Lack Thereof)

Is it just me, or do any of you also think that LSU might set another season high for rushing yardage this weekend? Chizik's defense hasn't exactly been stalwart this season.
I'm guessing it'll be another game where LSU just methodically overwhelms its opponent and beats it into submission by the 4th quarter.
Anyone expecting LSU to air it out this week will be mightily disappointed.

I am actually expecting a higher number of passes since Lee is getting comfortable and it is time JJ also started slinging it around.

They held UF in check last week. Granted that the Gators running game is in the 9th level of Dante's hell. Still, we might not run for 400 yards on them.

gators were without their best running threat also (Demps)

Auburn gives up 182 yards per game on ground...
Although considering the history between the two clubs over last decade I wouldn't expect LSU to just run in and beat them by 30 with 200+ rushing yards either.
This is LSU's year so beating everyone by 30+ until Bama might actually happen.

No joke but...for some reason roof's D's play much better against a pro style running attack ie, South Carolina, Bama, LSU
Not to say we are going to win but they always stop the run against that style.

We shall see. You may stop us for a quarter, even slow us down for two, but over the course of the game your boys will be worn down till they simply can't take it any more.
If there is one word I can think of to describe this year's LSU offense it is: relentless. Les doesn't care if we get two yards or less several times early on. He knows that over the course of the game LBs being smacked and knocked down by Stampley and Copeland eventually look for ways around them, thus opening holes even wider for the RBs.
