I have an 05 Super Duty with 94,000 miles. I love the way the truck looks, drives and comfort details. BUT, I have just about set the truck on fire several times and will prolly never buy another Ford! Damn thing has been in the shop numerous times and since the 5 year warranty expired I have had to put $10,000 into the damn thing. Oil and Egr coolers, all injectors, SCT valve on HP oil pump, down pipes and two electrical issues with windows. Hell I only pull my RV about 6 times a year. Mostly I drive it to the office and use it for normal truck stuff.
No help from ford customer service. My problems are not unique at all. Supposedly the new Super Duty is "fixed", but I don't want a new note. Anyone looking for a Super Duty, think hard and don't buy any models between 03-10.

Talked to my buddy yesterday who said that he's heard nothing but good things about the new 6 speed automatic tranny. My last F-250, which was an 06, started falling apart at 100k miles, and my roommate's 07 is currently doing the same thing. Due to the fact that our family company has a contract with Ford, we have always been loyal customers. Ill mainly be pulling boats in the summer, and the F-150 I have right now just isn't cutting it.

I had the same problems with my 05 F-250. Traded it in 6 months ago and letting someone else have those problems. Got a gas F-150 now.
