I wonder what this entailed from a UT perspective.

With a great rest of the season Lee could work his way to 5 all time

1st-Team All-SEC all 4 years for a reason, son!
He held the SEC career record for a few years before some Gator broke it.

Are you kidding? He could easily be #3.

Doc, Bert played when freshman weren't eligible. Three years only.

realistic shot to finish 4th all time

I was referring to Hodson. I don't even know that Bert did it twice, although he may have.

4 year starter. (Not to diminish his accomplishments, just explain the stat differential)

12 TDs in 7 games isn't asking for the second coming of Joe Montana.

Eh it will be close. THe problem is our running game and JJ getting in more and more snaps in goal line situations it will make it difficult, but I mean its definitely not impossible for sure

Well, JLee would have to do it in one half, because he's not going to get 4 quarters against WKU.

FWIW, John Reaves of UF set the NCAA career passing record in 1971, and Pat Sullivan won the Heisman, so I doubt that Bert Jones made All-SEC his junior year, when he first broke into the starting lineup. McClendon loved to play multiple QBs.
