Rambo: First Blood vs First Blood Part II

So I'm rewatching the Rambo movies and thought I'd ask this question: Of the first two movies, which do you think is the better movie?
I asked this to some friends last night and immediately started an argument.
I think that the first movie has a better plot/storyline, while the second movie has more action.
What say you?

Dangling snake choke as symbolic sign of phalic domination = win
hot asian chick vs. No chick at all in First Blood = obvious Rambo II domination

Rambo first blood is def the better movie but first blood part 2 is the one I find myself rewatching the most
I've always wondered how much of first blood part 2's screenplay written by James Cameron was changed by Sylvester Stallone when he rewrote it...how much better could part 2 have been if it was camerons

First Blood is a real movie about the after-effects of the Vietnam war...socio-economic situations, how society wanted to move on and forget and how disposable the marginalized people are in mainstream society. The country was still lost and Stallone portrayed that broken-compass confusion perfectly. It has real heart to the story like the original Rocky and the acting and small dialogue matter...like Rourke did recently in The Wrestler. The plot in First Blood could and probably did and probably still does happen in small jerk-water towns across America. The sheriff and the law pushing people around they don't like.
Part II was a Chuck Norris flick.

But First Blood has an epic story of a vet who is hated by the country he fought for and has to learn to deal with. Win.

Part II has a Russian hovering in a combat chopper falling for the ole' special forces "playing opossum in a crashed chopper whilst holding a loaded rocket launcher" trick.
This taught all Americans a life lesson...all commits are Retards. Thus paving the way for Rocky IV and the end of the Cold War.
= win

You don't think small town Sheriff's push vagabonds and today's homeless out of towns?
Hell, Portland Oregon puts them all on a bus with a ticket and ships them to San Fransciso!

I've yet to see anyone trump my points supporting Rambo II. As a result, please edit all above First Blood support posts so they agree with my conclusions. Thanks and you're welcome.

I
I think that him taking down all those people in First Blood without killing them is just as impressive as him killing a bunch of Commies.

Killing faceless-nameless Asians does not equal defeating ROTC dudes from the Great Northwest.

I'm not sure it was that much better. cameron was still trying to find his groove back then. Remember, he wrote Piranha 2 around that time.
I think I remember reading an interview somewhere about it and Stallone saying he liked the basic premise, but it was too liberal for what he felt the character was. basically, it didn't fit Stallone's political philosophy. So he changed the message, but kept the plot.
But I can't remember where I saw the interview, maybe it was on the Actor's Studio or something like that.
