quote:well i honestly cant lsu beat bama last year when LSU had a much weaker offense and a slightly weaker defense alabama lost their quarterback, a heisman RB, and their star Wideout alabama really has not had much of a challenging schedule so far penn st. was over rated Fla we beat just as bad i am very confident LSU will go there and beat bama 24-10 and Dreaux are you even actually an LSU fan?..we have a better quarterback/quarterbacks... better widereceivers... as a whole our Rbs are better i know everyone loves TR but SW, AB, MF, and TM are better as a whole than TR and Lacy
I could see how a independent observer would come to that conclusion.

fortunately for us they get paid to babble nonsensically for our viewing entertainment, and lsu (with or without the aid of the refs) will truly determine our fate.

This...under-estimation of our offense. I have confidence in this offense to make BIG plays when they need too..see last year vs. Bama. It will be a close game no doubt but I see Lee and Randle making a big play late to pull it out.

aaaa...the Auburn guy makes a little sense. But since when does sense have a place on the Rant!?
Both teams pretty evenly matched, on the road...we'll be a 5 point dog. But as someone else pointed out, the pressure will be on 'Bama more so than us.
I like our chances but it's far from a sure thing.

Just a quick bit about the running backs
We all agree that TR is the best of the bunch, so we really need to stop the argument that LSU's RB situation is better because of depth. I love Ware, but TR is a little better. It doesn't take 3 RB's to have a big game, it takes one. We have seen that in the past.
QB's, WR's, D Line, Secondary, ST - I like all of those things better than Bamas, but concede the point on RB's. Our running game is more than capable, but it's not better than theirs because we have better depth.
