I fish nearly year round and run a bunch...with that said, I always fill up after every trip (60 gallon tank). I belive that it makes it less likely to have condensate build up and reduces the chance of ulitmately getting a lot of water in the fuel.
I have no proof that it's the right thing to do, but I buy whatever gas I want (ethanol or not) and have never had any problems. With that said, Yamaha says up to E10 is ok on my motor so it shouldn't matter.
