I have respect for WV and their football team but you could place alot of teams in the Big East and they would have more success on the field.

you are a basketball school and yet to make a final 4

We are a football school with 2 BCS Bowl wins and have made a final 4 in hoops

Again. How many BCS Bowls if you are in a more challenging conference. Your conference winner was 8-5. A conference winner that lost by almost 30 to our conference winner. I have respect for WV but lets not compare situations.

the years we went to the BCS games the conference was alot better this has nothing to do with last years winner even though we had a better record than Uconn do a lil research first man

Dont forget Kansas went to a BCS bowl out of the Big 12 that one year

My guess is you have never been to a Mizzou football game in Columbia. And I am certain you have never been to a Missouri vs. Kansas game. Irrational Passion doesn't begin to describe it.

I wonder where they get Mizzou is not passionate. Is it because the fan base is classy and don't throw shite at buses, beat up fans. Mizzou reminds me of STL Cards fans, they respect the sport and opposing fans.

Mizzou games are no different than Arkansas, Ole Miss, Kentucky, Miss St, Vandy, OU, Okie State, etc. I've been to various stadiums, Mizzou is no different. They cheer loud, have good tail gates, etc.

Hell WVU only had 45,000 for homecoming. I don't know when's the last time Mizzou had that low of an attendance and they played 11am games against Miami of Ohio and other weak non conference games.

The Big East was never near the Big 12. Its safe to say you would not have the same level of success in the Big 12. I wouldnt be pushing that for a comparison between two programs number of wins.

The 2007 team would have been easily just as good as Mizzou in the big 12 that year.

We have at least got to the BCS games and won them, we are good this year while Mizzou is pretty shitty lol

didn't WVU only get to the BCS after BC and VT left the BE?

no troll, serious question.

i think MU and WVU will both end up in the SEC once they move to 16 anyway

Since the BCS started yes but we had been to the fiesta and sugar bowl when VT was in conference. It really has nothing to do with VT they are one of the most overrated programs around. I really do miss that rivalry it was bad with both sets of fans

Big East is one of the WEAKEST football conferences. Been talked about for YEARS. Mizzou have a winning record vs the SEC regular season non conference games and in BOWLS. We know they can COMPETE with the SEC. Big 12/Big 8 is usually talked about being one of the Power Conferences along with the Big Ten and SEC, nobody mentions the Big East. I laugh when people talk down Mizzou when they showed they can compete with a SEC teams and compete with Big 12 teams. Not bad for a avg football program. Oh and didn't sorry Mizzou also beat WVU in a bowl.

On Thursday: Mizzou2SEC: Did you know: Missouri is 19-8-1 vs SEC all time, 7-2 vs SEC in bowl games, and 4-0 vs SEC since 2005. Mizzou Missouri SEC

I have a photo from a game at Arrowhead Stadium with at least 5 of these visible. Along with a sign that reads, "Quantrill Half-Assed It" in reference to the notorious raid on Lawrence Kansas in which he and his men burned the city to the ground as repayment for the Jayhawks' killing of innocent Missouri farmers.

We lost on the Road to the #1 team at the time by 10. You guys at home to the #1 team by 26. We have only lost to ranked teams on the road. The Big East has no ranked teams so again this is not comparable. We would be undefeated in the Big East.

WVU's record vs the SEC is pretty good i can't find it right now and one of our bowl wins was vs the SEC champ in their own backyard

We have played LSU,Auburn,Miss St and UGA of late and UF in the sugar bowl in the 90's

Yes. You do realize we are in the top 25 in attendance every year?
