Potential Taunting Scenario???

All of this talk about what should or shouldn't considered taunting by the NCAA got me thinking about scenarios that could be considered BOTH taunting & a smart play.
Examples(Not arguing semantics, these are to the best of my memory): Last year Desean Jackson fields a punt with 15 seconds left and returns it for what looks to be a sure TD. As he approaches the goal line, Jackson looks back, sees no Giants defenders can get him and slows down and runs along the face of the goal line while looking back at the defenders before crossing the goal line after time expired.
Few years before, Brandon Stokley catches a 90 yard TD with seconds to go in the game. Similar to Jackson, he looks back, sees no defenders can catch him and runs across the face of the goal line until time expires before crossing in for the TD.
Do you think that plays similar to these would or should be flagged for taunting under the NCAA rule?

They were running out the clock, not making gestures at the opposing team. No to your scenarios.

If they had looked back, slowed down, stopped and waited for the defenders before stepping in the end zone, would that change your interpretation of taunting?

What about dropping the ball or spiking the ball as you cross the goal line which would normally result in a touchback? Who was that?
That penalty would be helpful.
That penalty would be helpful.

How long before we see "if you are being taunted by another fan please text i am a pussy to #911 with your section and seat number."
Oh wait this is already going on, face it we are a country of wimps
I am so sick of this crap, taunting, bullying, in a country where every snot nose kid gets a trophy. HTFU people

though what they did was strategic, running out the clock to be certain of the win, since the rule in question is open to the interpretation of the officials, and since the officials we will be saddled with are SEC officials, who knows how this would play out really?

This is what I worry about. While I don't think many college players would be heady enough to realize the situation and make the decision to run out the clock, I have EVEN LESS belief that an SEC Ref could correctly recognize the intent of the player in that scenario.
This was the only scenario I could think of this early in the morning. Does anyone else have a similar scenario that could be interpreted as taunting or making a smart play?
