That is easier said than done. When I played football in High School and I scored my first touchdown I went fricking nuts! I was so excited I really don't even remember the whole thing. I do remember when I came back on the field for the next series the Ref told me off to the side next time I needed to calm down or he would throw a flag. I said yes sir then and each time after I would just hand the ball to the Ref. What happen Saturday was a typical arse wipe SEC Ref inserting himself into the game plain and simple. I don't know if Wing ever scored in High School but my guess he didn't. He scored a touchdown in front of 93,000 screaming fans on National TV and it was taken away from him. That was complete bullshite and it makes me sick for him. The only plus side is that he is now famous for it so I am happy for him in that respect.

He should have gotten a flag @ the 17 second mark.

Wing was showboating??? Please. That's ridiculous.

This.

I am watching the game on SEC Express and literally in real time you cannot see it it is so brief. You have to see it in slow motion to really pick it up. Even then it is beyond "yawner" tame.

I am all for enforcing the rules but this is insanity.

I like how sanders is your only reference... Like he represents each and every back.

And yes...Wing was showboating.

Can't say that I blame him...If I had just done that I would have been turning cartwheels...If I could.

It's all about one's personality. Either you're insecure or you arent. If you're secure and comfortable in your skin...then scoring is more than enough. If you arent..then you need to showboat and bring attention to yourself.

What a bunch of malarkey!!

Im more in line with Miles' thinking. Just score the fricking TD and be done with it...isnt that enough? I really dont get the showboating crap.

I agree. This isn't a game. It shouldn't be fun.

Insecure people want attention, secure people do not want attention? Did I hear you correctly?

Talk about attention.
That ref calls a penalty that has never been called before costing the home team a touchdown, stirring up a national controversy.

My friend THAT'S attention.

He has just got to be feeling like a rock star right now.

Wait a minute: Where are the Bammers following this link? Not one. Too much logic to complain about LSU?

And you think Brad wing is insecure for extending his arms for .05 seconds?
