I saw this on twitter. A guy from channel 11 in D/FW told a guy from channel 4 in OKC that Mizzou to the SEC will be a "done deal" by the end of the day. Who knows?

Can't believe the SEC like messing up other conferences

I mean i want Mizzou there for LSU vs Mizzou but other than that they need to stay in the Big 12 with KU, K-State, Oklahoma Schools. Guess we won't have those good KU vs Mizzou basketball match ups. Mizzou is making a big mistake. Go from playing OU once a year to playing 4-5 teams with OU type players. Good luck

+1, but if they come anyway, welcome Mizzou. I think...

Legal challenges are GONE with the addition of TCU.

The Big 12 sees adding Louisville or WVU as a 100% guarantee to replace Mizzou, the TV deal stays the same, everyone is happy.

For that reason, I think Mizzou gets done...and they get shoved into the East to keep all rivalries intact. Although I wish Arkansas would take them as their yearly rival (since they are so close) and A&M could get USC.

I don't think Mizzou will have go to through the drawn out dog and pony show that A&M had to go through....look how fast the ACC added Pitt and Rutgers. A&M only had to jump through hoops because of our good friend Mr. Starr. Who is now happy to kill the Big East by taking two of their teams.....

Scheduling will have to change unless you go to 9 game schedule otherwise it will take longer to play everyone on other side

if it stays at 8 they will probably remove permanent opponent and rotate all

Speaking of Big East teams, the Big East is having a teleconference about what to do.

Expansion isn't on the menu, but raising exit fees is.

If that doesn't send the remaining six teams in the conference scrambling for a soft landing, nothing will, as they're on the edge of losing their recognition from the NCAA as a football conference, which would cost them their BCS bid.

He was a slimy voyeuristic pervert during the Clinton-Lewinsky affair and now has proven to be a complete hypocrite.

I like Vincent Bugliosi's description of Ken Starr: about as disgusting a public figure as has ever hit the spotlight.

while not ideal, an unbalanced schedule doesn't bother me that much. Over the short term it may not even be a problem. However, if you're the assistant AD responsible for schedules, you really, really, don't want to schedule an unbalanced sched at this late date for next year.

I'm not that concerned about rivalries, etc as those will all develop over time in the SEC for Mizzou. Adding the states of Missouri and Texas to the SEC is simply huge for media rights and SEC network negotations. This is all good stuff guys...just like running water and fiber optic cable.

By the way, not sure I have ever watched a KU v Mizzou football game...could care less. Is/was that actually a rivalry game anyone knows about??

I am listening to Pat Jones' radio show from Tulsa right now. This old guy is awesome! He's the guy whose sources tell him that Mizzou to the SEC is a done deal.

The rivalry is real, going back to border raids between the two states before and during the Civil War, but the football has generally sucked.

The only year it was relevant, IIRC, was when Mizzou and Kansas were both undefeated going into the game back in 2007.
