Everyone in Oklahoma is unjustifiably pumped about TCU--they think it's the Big XII savior. Unfortunately this team (that's lost to Baylor and SMU this year mind you) adds nothing of significance: No fan base outside of their small alumni, no decent sized stadium, no television sets, nothing really. The Big XII is done. Adding another passenger to a sinking ship doesn't stop the ship from sinking.

I like Gary Patterson, and I like TCU. You are correct, though. TCU is a SMALL school and dfw is just not a college football town.

TCU at least has some elements that make for a good football program - a good location and a lot of money for athletics

Obviously they will be a little brother to OU and Texas but that's what OU and Texas seem to want
