I know I'm late but this just really bothers me. Texas is not in the SOUTH EAST!

Well, make sure you present this argument at the next meeting of the SEC presidents. Even if no one here gives a frick what you want or think, I'm certain they will.

You are not alone but it's happening. Just look at it this way. We have the weirdos of aTm to make fun of now.

Everything about A&M and Arkansas blows, we should just leave them in the Big 12...

It is just sad to see the best conference in America sell out not to mention the rivalries that will be ruined

Remember in the Godfather when Robert Duvall sat Michael down and explained to him the things they needed to change with the organization, even though things were going well, because if they didn't then 10 years from then the family would lose their spot on top of the crime game?
This is exactly the same thing.

Hmm. The SEC as the Corleone family. Interesting.

I hear what you are saying but this is all about money and we are so far ahead, I just cant possibly agree with it

Houston feels a lot more Southern to me than Miami and Orlando, brah.

Again - as I said, it doesn't matter what you or I agree with. No one cares and no one will take it into account for anything.
Also, if you realize that it's about money, and you realize that we are so far ahead, you must certainly realize the necessity to remain so far ahead, right?

The other conferences are catching up to and surpassing our current tv deal.
The Big Ten network is making HUGE money already and growing every day.

Instead of dealing narcotics, we've got to deal with the Aggies.
Nice.

If the opinion of the majority of SEC fans is the same it could account for something.

As in organized protest? It's worth a shot. I certainly don't agree with the objection, but by all means. It's one of the most powerful tools which the masses have at their disposal in our great country.
