And the more we win... the more lists he will be #1 on.

I don't get the hate for Herbstreit. He pimps LSU often.

A punt return for TD may put him at the top of the list.

He gets a td or huge play vs bama and he'll be in NYC.

Feels great and I love the guy but this isn't sustainable compared to a ball carrier or QB. And don't give me outlier examples like Charles Woodson.

Hard to argue with that one. But to have real shot at winning the Trophy, won't he need to score more TDs? We saw Suh finish up there with just being simply the best defensive lineman ever but even he didn't actually win it. Just curious. No expert on the history anything. Would LOVE to have our next Heisman winner come from the defense.

ETA: read other posts and think we are pretty much on same page. Punt returns or pick 6's and he'll be a real contender to WIN.

That's the thing.. IF (big if) he keeps getting turnovers at this rate.. he is the outlier.

Hate to admit it but Herbstriets opinion carries a lot of weight.

If all this leads to TM7 getting paid down the road I'm all for it.

Herbstreit has turned the corner on the Tigers this year. He's been pimping us a lot this year.

Herbstreit used to be awful but the past few years has changed, become more objective.

TM has done something awesome in EVERY game he has played in. What has been his worst game in his career? Mississippi State? Where he had 10 tackles

That seems sustainable to me.

sometimes a sticky keeps ten other users from posting the same news item...
