Calling in to act like they are worried about the moral implications for Jordan. I call bull*hit on that. If you are without sin, cast the first stone. Since I don't think Jesus was in Tiger Stadium, all the "good" folks that booed need to shut up. Forever LSU!

That's been the calling card for a lot of people through all of this shite. The kid isn't even convicted of anything yet but they're leaning on the "he broke team rules" crutch when the whole fricking team broke team rules.
eta: I'm with you on the booers too. I like how Jefferson somehow is morally compromised yet these old fat fricks thinks it's just fine to boo a kid.

I have never in my life seen a hatred for a kid that got in a freaking fight. How many college athletes do far worse things involving theft, drugs, rapes, but OH MY frickING GAWD he got in a fight!! Crucify his arse now!! Never mind the number of wins the kid has helped LSU to, he should be kicked to the curb because the messiah Lee (101st Passing Offense Lee, no less) is the starter.

They are not morally offended by the quarterback who plead guilty to assaulting a female, but are offended by a player that assaulted someone who was assaulting a female. That sounds kinda fishy to me. What 20 year old doesn't make idiotic mistakes? i did young and foolish things when i was young and foolish

this isn't all about race. Yea, there are some racist LSU fans, but this is about LSUs fans perception of who the best QB is.
They want the best QB in the game and %90 of LSU fans realize it's Lee and they want him playing.

I don't think either one deserves much criticism for their mistakes- but grabbing an arse as an 18 year old and kicking someone in the head (allegedly) are two different things.
Mett lost his job, his schollie at UGA- he has served his time.
JJ lost 4 games of his SR year. He has also served his time.
I actually think most people were upset with Miles not letting Lee finish his drive.
I expect us to see more of the same- Lee will probably be our QB between the 20s. Can't say I agree with it, just a feeling it may happen that way.

I'm on the "don't put in Jefferson" bandwaggon, but it is definitely not for "moral implications". I too am shocked that so many people seem to be basing their opinion on the discipline issue. Both players had to sit 4 games for something that the punter has missed a down for. But the more talk show callers I hear, I am surprised at the reasons for some fans anger.

Yea i heard that a bit ago. What these people can't mask is that it is nothing more than bigotry and plain dislike for the kid that motivates their hatred. If JJ were white, no one would say shite.

None of the idiots know who we need to win games better than Miles. JJ will open up the running game more than Lee. Bottom line is we need both of them and Miles is right to play him. We have not faced a defense with a dominant line yet, but we will next Saturday. All the idiots need to shut up and support this team for God's sake they are ranked number one in the country. JJ made a mistake and paid the price now shut the frick up.
