I absolutely do not want Jefferson to start or even play this year.

Most people. Even a lot of ex-JJ supporters like myself. I was sold after the Florida game last year.

Everyone wants Lee to stay the starter.
Jefferson will be a good red zone addition though.

I want Lee to remain the quarterback because (a) he has played very well against difficult competition; and (b) the offense is producing points against marquee opponents like Oregon and WVU.

While I'd love to see JJ in on 3rd and short plays I would much rather keep Lee as the starter. He has proven himself very well in the most brutal September in recent memory.

Are we struggling in the red zone?

Lee manages the team far better. He allows our great RB's to get their fair share of carries. He makes the offense multi-dimensional. He doesn't whine and cry. He stays away from Shady's.

As long a Lee continues to move the offense, I would assume he will remain the starting QB.
The question is who do you want as the #2 in the event that Lee stumbles? JJ with the experience, or ZM with the potential (and need of experience)
Personally, I like the idea of an experienced #2. Kind of like Marcus Randell in 2003.

I agree 100% Lee has proven him self and should start and play every snap!

Lee should start. It's his team. Once JJ is in game shape, he can do mop up duty.

Maybe we should let him kick off. Seems like kicking is the first thing he's done since being at LSU that gave him recognition.

We need someone to take sacks and fumble?
