3rd string QB. He comes in a few times to hold for an extra point so I don't have to see him next year.

transfer out or not play another down. This team has shown it plays better with a true passer who can spread the ball around. I'm tired of seeing 9 guys in the box whenever Jefferson is playing.

1 - What is best for LSU football is to have as much talent as possible on the roster. JLee is our starter , JJ is backup and Mett is a third and very talented option. We all win !

But with less snaps then Lee got last year. I keep hearing people say to put him in when in the red zone. WTF? Why in the hell would we do that? You want to wild cat? Put in Ware or RS. They run better anyway. The kid can't pass and he can't run particularly well, so why in the hell do we want him in?
Besides, you can't have two different styles of QB's splitting time. It leaves your offense without and identity and tips of defenses to what you are doing. And before any of you rantards say it Lee/Jefferson do not = Tebow/leak.

I vote for him only playing if Lee gets hurt and the coaches don't trust Mett. But, at this point, I'd have to think that the game plan with Lee will suit Mett much better than JJ.
I'd probably have him tied with Mett on the 2nd team. But, I would have zero plans on playing him. The only way he would see the field would be if both Lee and Mett are hurt.

IMHO I think he should red shirt and transfer out. He is too much of a distraction right now.

Option 5: mop up garbage times at games' end.
