Oklahoma has no home even without Ok St. Conferences don't want them without UTa also. They are stuck and it sucks to be them.
Trust me, if they could go to the SEC, B1G, or Pac they would be gone

OK on their own could find a home; OSU is the albatross. The B1G wouldn't take them, but the PAC probably would without OSU and the SEC most certainly would take them as the 14th team. While not as confident, I think the SEC would take OSU along with them as long as there was a suitable 16th. The only thing that might prevent the SEC from taking them with OSU is if FSU/VT are really in play.

Supposedly OU and OSU are more tightly tied together than the Texas schools were. Its been repeated many times that OU can't go anywhere without OSU. Up until this year, same was said about Texas and A&M and Tech. So it could be true or not.

i for one think ok state could stand alone without ou... they are on the rise in football. have a good history of basketball with eddie sutton. they are a top 25 baseball. and they win often in wrestling and golf (which i know doesnt mean much).

I've heard otherwise. Oklahoma doesn't bring much. The Pac isn't expanding unless it gets the Texas markets. UTa won't budge on the LHN so that's dead. The Pac won't take Oklahoma.
The SEC will not take #14 from the West. It will be from the East. And they don't bring $$$ or AAU status with them. The SEC doesn't want OU.
The B1G wouldn't touch OU's academics.
OU is stuck. Believe me. They tried to leave. Boren was talking to Bowen for help leaving. It just wasn't possible
