For those who think JJ will be a distraction to the team

That is a foolish statement. What do y'all think he is doing now sitting at his house and not talking to anyone on the team? No he is in the quad at LSU almost everyday with about 15 offense and defensive starters talking, laughing, and socializing. So, him coming back won't change how the players feel about him or how the interact.

If he comes back, could create some separation in the locker room. JJ guys vs Lee guys.

As long as Les has had the talk with JLee... I dont care if he comes back or not.

He might think he will be starting when he gets back and when he doesn't that's when the shite hits the fan.

I don't care about how they feel about him.
I don't want JJ within 50 feet of JLee. You don't mess with a good thing, and you certainly don't fix it if it's not broken. I don't want JLee feeling any unnecessary pressure.

No one is worried about JJ coming back and people not liking him.
We are worried about JJ coming back, playing, and being terrible as usual.

I think JJ has the potential to be a good cheerleader for the rest of the team. Sort of an on the sidelines, in the lockerroom, at practice cheerleader.

It will not be a problem for the team. It will be a problem for alot of idiots who call in BR sports talk and post around here.

I for one will not look at CLM the same if JJ was to come back and start. He doesnt deserve too.

1. JJ won't be a threat to JL if/when he comes back.
2. CLM won't allow his return to cause undo distractions.
3. JL has been waiting 3 years to see JJ holding his clipboard.
I'd think JLs mindset would be more of "this is how you do it son" vs. "i hope i don't lose my job".

I hope he gets to come back. The whole situation he went through was bull@$%#. I'll be glad to get him back on the team. I don't think he should start. He lost that priviledge when, as the "leader" of this team, he broke team rules. But I welcome the additional twists he adds to this offense. It will give opposing defenses just something else to have to gameplan for.

Having him on the sideline hurts the team. His availability over Mett is harmful to our success. Hopefully Lee never gets hurt but if it happens, then you have a huge fanbase that knows Jefferson isn't the 2nd best QB on the team. I don't trust Miles to make the best decision.
If he is back soon and practicing, he won't be ready for anything until November. I say leg him play a few snaps against WKU so he can't redshirt and haunt us next year.

Les will start whoever gives us the best shot to win.

Ur right... whether or not it becomes a distraction would depend entirely on how it is handled... CLM will handle it just fine..... obviously he has thus far...
