The 2011 LSU football team is better with Lee at QB than they would have been with Jefferson. There were games during the 2010 season that were painful to watch.

amen to that! the none stat you dont get to see is how he reacts when his receivers drop a pass...he gives em a pat on the shoulder pads and tells em its ok, next time..he doesnt berate them or throw a fit. He is a good QB and has developed into everything we knew he could be since Day One. He got his shot his senior season and he is making every moment count. What a gutsy kid...

We will never know what Jefferson "would have or could have done" this year. Why bother making the comparison? The OP mentioned nothing about that.

JL has stepped in and been a very effective and good QB. His stats and the team wins show it. Some people were worried whether he could after his Froshmen campaign. I, for one, am glad he stayed with the program!

+100

Much more polished product on the field right now, whether that's because of Lee or Krags is debatable, but much more fun to watch

Simply because its an opinion board. It wasn't intended to do permanent damage to Jefferson's mental health but to reflect an opinion on the team's improvement at the position.

That's the truth. Lee's play in 2011 is an huge upgrade from what we experienced in 2010 at the position.

Also the truth.

Just imagine if the receivers would have caught every pass that hit them in the hands/numbers. Seen some good passes dropped this year. He's been a lot more accurate than we have been used to seeing out of an LSU QB for the last few years, himself included.

Fixed it for ya.

We have no idea how Jefferson would've played this season. Considering Lee has improved under Kragthorpe there's no reason to believe Jefferson wasn't improved as well. Perhaps we will still find out..................................

We know for certain that Lee was better in the passing game against Tenn. & Fla. So its hard to believe that JJ would have gotten SO MUCH better in that area than Lee already was, under the same coach.

As I have said all along. LSU does not need another runner at the QB position. Ware, Ford, Blue, and even Shep should be more than enough.

Lee needed some mechanics and a little read help. JJ needed 30 IQ points and leadership skills.

Agreed, JJ would have likely 'done better' anyway this season with better coaching. How much better is anyone's guess. I am glad though, that I don't have to see the 'pouty face' at all this season.

the facial expressions never really bothered me. people react differently to different situations. I wasn't even that upset with the "Aaron Brooks smiling after an interception" fiasco
