I finally got this from a guy who contacted me after he saw my article in the Advocate before the championship. He wanted to give me a program from the banquet that celebrated the 58 national champs. If you look at the date it proves to those that think that we were national champs before we played sugar bowl even though we consider the sugar bowl to be the championship game. He attended the banquet with Emile Fournet, and had him sign it. He was his neighbor and friend growing up since his father had passed away.

1978 Liberty Bowl Team Signed football. The autos are good, painting on it is alittle faded, and the leather is cracked with no chipping, but when you come across something like this you cant pass it up.
