Is a rep where a better WR is riding pine. The kid has clearly never embraced really developing as a WR. A lot of you talk about imperfect passes to him because you don't seem to understand how often that "perfect" pass you see is the result of good route running and WR adjustments.

RS does neither of those things well. As for catching low balls, the guy looks helpless. Save the "at his feet" crap. WR catch those as a norm. He'll, QBs practice throwing them low on purpose in certain situations.

RS was a great HS player. It just ain't translating

So you think he's a bust? I'm just wondering.

Do you see a better use for him? I just don't see that he's developed into a Percy Harvin type player which was the idea when he was converted to WR.

Agree- run a some misdirection packages for him, bubble screen, flat pass but overall he is a situational player, not an everydown WR.

I think bust is a term used for guys that never contribute at all.

No. He isn't a good RB. Perhaps as a KR? But we have better players than him anywhere else he could play. Frankly, maybe he needs to pull a Corey Webster and switch sides of the ball.

Word. I love Shep but you look at that pass at his feet that he made almost no reaction to - I don't think it is lack of effort but just a lack of receiver instincts or skill or vision or something.

James Wright would have either caught that ball or came damn close. Ditto for Beckham and probably Landry.

Shep will make some big plays this year by virtue of his playing time but I have to agree I think LSU has better pure receivers playing behind him.

He did make a great catch on a high ball...just saying...but i agree the two low throws, he should have at least broken out of stride and went into a slide to try and catch them
