Damn it feels good to be Football Powerhouse

Around ten years back i became a LSU Fan after watching the UGA 03 win at Tiger Stadium.During the early part of that season i used to look at the Oklahoma's and the Miami's and wish LSU would be spoken on the same breath as these perennial power houses or thats what these teams seemed like then.
Now ten years later LSU is a veritable powerhouse to the extent that a WIN against us is considered a program defining win for some teams.
What can i say,its been great to be a Tiger Fan!!!

Its always nice to step back and appreciate where the program is right now. Doesnt get much better than this.

I have no problem with that.. i became a fan when my family moved here about 8 years ago..
ETA: I also went to school there starting in 05

It's nice to be supremely confident in this team again after the past couple of years. Its an incredible feeling.

I agree with you, it's nice to see LSU at the top of the football world.

I've been a tiger fan since the day I was put on this earth in 1984, and yes it is a great feeling to know all of what LSU has accomplished through all of our up's and downs... Especially after the Hallman years, those were the worst!!

I remember growing up watching with my dad and sometimes listening on the radio... that was the late 70's and 80's.... my high school days... my sophisticated. Year I even went to their football camp... so I relate to everyone embracing this success... and im telling ya... they are really special this season

same here but 31 yrs ago at Woman's -- used to see LSU get killed by A&M and Miami as a kid and basketball games were more exciting (cuz of Shaq and CJ of course)
but yea it feels good, just like the Saints to see a team struggle so bad for so many years and now are powerhouses;

Remember going to the Florida game in 1997 and couldn't believe we jumped as high as number 7 following that victory. No need to talk about what happened the following week.
Now, we are sitting in the top 3 and have been a consistent top 10 team for a lot of this decade.

Since I was at LSU from 90-94...I'm appreciating the last 10 years even more.
