Just saw on their press conference they are doing now LINK
also in press conference indicates Mizzou is staying as well
Expansion committee reformed.
Also saying the nine presidents confirmed everything which indicates A&M is gone so that should make A&M people happy.
Beebe gone
OU president says "highly likely A&M goes to the SEC"
"hopes conference gets to where nobody is driving the train"

Good. Now maybe SEC speculation can be put to bed for both of these teams. At least for 2011-12.

It is embarassing. I would have thought OU would have more pride than this.

Not that they would care - but I've lost all respect for OU because of all of this. What a joke of a conference - a complete comedy of errors. Good for A&M, Neb etc. UT and OU - funny.

MO invitation was contingent upon the Big12 (10+1) folding. They were /are in a good position.
OU got a rude awakening when they realized the PAC wasn't interested without TU.

Humility is a hard virtue to learn .

TU's day is coming.

TU is the pimp and he just smacked down his hoes...i.e....OU and the rest of them. Pathetic. Looking forward A&M next season.

OU is Texas' bottom bitch. aTm is Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. The SEC is Richard Gere.

I didn't see the conference but from what I've read on soonerfans.com, all nine schools agreed to give all money to the conference for six years. In exchange Texas agreed to negotiate the details of the LHN with them.

Shouldn't they have done the LHN negotiations first?!? If what I've read is correct, they are all locked in for six years no matter what and have zero leverage with the Whorns. Texas and ESPN will spend the next six years pushing and pushing for high school football programming and conference games, and on and on.

I hope this isn't true.
