From the Home Page of TD Headlines.....Big East & Big 12 to merge?

If all goes accordingly, the Big 12 would have Missouri, Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas and Kansas State left. While the Big East still has six football members, Cincinnati, Connecticut, South Florida, Rutgers, Louisville and West Virginia, plus next years's TCU. And I guess there's your new conference, folks.
I could live with that. Decent conference. And with both Big 12 and Big East being AQ, it would reduce it to 1 spot.

If that's the case, won't we have an unbalanced SEC for a while unless the SEC picks up one of those schools or a school in the ACC?

I thought SEC was leaning to West Virginia?

Pretty sure if the SEC called any of those schools they could be pulled away from that conference.

A merge of Big 12 and Big East leftovers would be a temporary fix. No stability in a crappy conference like that.

I still think UConn goes to ACC's 16
And I still think Mizzou, Kansas, & K State goes to BIG

K State goes to BIG
Will never happen.

Might happen. I think Missouri and Rutgers would be solid Big 10 adds. Lot of new media markets.
