Big East won't go under. They already said they'd take Mizzou, K-State, Kansas, Iowa State. So I'm sure Baylor would go along.lol. TCU will be in good hands.

yeah, Big East and Big12 remnants could merge assuming the B1G and SEC don't grab them up first

Sounds like they'd need a new conference name...

The Big East/Big 12 needs a new name.

SEC could go after TCU. SEC would have the Houston market and Dallas/Ft. Worth market. You couldn't ask for much more.
They bring in VaTech, thus getting the DC market and maybe FSU and we will dominate TV markets all across the South

uconn thinks it will and is trying HARD to get into the ACC
ND is also looking at a potential move to the acc - maybe not with football

I've heard from someone that is connected and that I trust that Syracuse and Pitt are just step 1. UConn and Rutgers will probably be 15 and 16 to the ACC. He's rarely wrong, but he said all of this came out of the blue with the ACC giving Syracuse and Pitt 24 hours to accept the ACC invitation or be passed over, and with that kind of dramatic urgency it's hard to predict. Unless ND seems like they are willing to come aboard with the football schools of the Big East running for the hills and leaving them to play the catholic non-football schools in the non-revenue sports, Ritgers and UConn are the top choices to make 16. He also said once they are at 16 theres been talk of further increasing their buyout from the 20M it just jumped to, but right now it's just talk.
He also said WV has been trying to hold the Big East together for the past 48 hours, after trying to kill it for the past two weeks. He interpreted that as Mizzou being a lock for the SEC #14, and A&M and Mizzou will sign as soon as OU/OSU gets stuff worked out with the PAC, whether UT and TT go with them or not.
