We are not a pure spread team, and we run out of the I formation a lot and I am not sure that we are pure pro style either..

What do you think ?

15 years ago this would be a pro set

Now it's just kind of a throwback.

It is more of a pro style than most other modern day college offenses. Hopefully recruits notice this and understand it does matter what system you played in come draft time.

You might be right.
Sledge hammers aren't considered stylish.
Effective, but not stylish.

Ground and pound. Term often used in MMA. Wear down an opponent before submission or delivering the knockout punch

Its a multi-set offense that relies heavily on smash-mouth I formation, between the tackles, fullbacks and/or double tight end in short yardage and short to middle passing routes. It rarely passes on "non-passing" downs, subject to down and distance. The post route or long ball is a rarity. The money pass in the red zone is the fade pattern (JLee's best)and the slant is utilized effectively.

Its very rare to see an empty backfield and we have yet to see any real misdirection/slip screen stuff with Shep being out.
