Key word. Teams dont put their name out there to the press until they know they have a done deal. This has been going on for several weeks. This didnt happen overnight. The only way that there isnt a chance of FSU leaving is if the "expansion meeting" was canceled. ) ETA: Im not saying its likely that FSU is coming. Im just saying there isnt really legitimate reasons to be having a meeting.

I've been reading a little on the FSU rivals board and their fans are pretty upset with the additions of Pitt and Syracuse. They want the SEC bad. Upset at being stuck in a basketball conference and calling it Big East II.
