This seems to be so much more simple for other leagues.

Well ACC basketball certainly got stronger.

It does seem to just sorta happen for them out of nowhere, but I don't follow the ACC and Big East as much as the SEC.

And apparently the ACC is looking at adding UConn and Rutgers too from what they just said on ESPN.

Calhoun is going to be pissed when he has to watch his prototypical physical basketball get neutralized by the Duke world-class flop.

They are a step ahead of the curve. With the BCS contract not ending till 2016 (if I recall correctly), schools do not want to be left in the dust of the quasi-forced BCS conference realignment. As these schools have moderately successful football programs in recent years, they don't want to loose their investments so to speak.

They also said Texas is making a pitch to ACC.
I wondering what this means for Big 10 and SEC as far as schools they add if they add any

adding #14 for the sec just got fast tracked. all of that taking a year to decide who the next team would be just got trashed. slive probably working overtime on this shite. delaney will take mizzou if hte big 12 dissolves. i could also see them trying to snatch up uconn or rutgers before the acc gets to them. he will then sit back and watch the walls close around ND and wait for them to come begging for admittance.

Texas in the ACC doesn't make any fricking sense.

Atlantic Coast conference

Texas should go to the PAC 12

ESPN is paying top dollar to distribute ACC games on their network. It's all a ploy to save face with Texas.

Pacific Athletic Conference makes more sense?

They have maps at Tulane, btw. I've seen them.

This is making geography teachers worldwide very pissed off.

It's like when the NFL had Arizona Cardinals in the NFC East.
