I had heard on some college football show that lsu was the only team allowed to have the h-style goalpoasts. watching the fsu ou game i see the noles have the same posts. did i hear incorrectly (obviously???).

Any team can have them. Just those three have them for tradition.

OK, but what other college teams number their field every five yards?

LSU, FSU, and Washington State are the only team with H-style goal posts

Here's a question for you:

I can't speak for the other teams but why does LSU have the "H" type goal posts?

Yes, I know the answer. I want to see if you do. Just some trivia for you.

LSU has it for tradition. Every player has ran through the posts since the 60s or so (remember it was a long time ago). Some kind of superstitious thing that they started a while back.
