Two Thing I Saw Last Night

1. Our kickoffs suck. How the hell can we not find a kicker who can at least kick the ball to the endzone. The field position is going to hurt us at some point.
2. Lee looked great last night, however a better D last night could have caused a lot of trouble. Lee was locking on to his receivers and never scanned the field. That is a problem that we need to fix over the next couple weeks, before the meat of the SEC schedule starts.

Their defense played pretty frickin good brah. Lee still was what 21-27...with another drop or two. Only thing on offense needing correction is td's instead of fg's. Moo state played very well on defense IMO. I'll take the win and rest.
You're right about kickoffs though!

Something i said? I'm not being negative at all! I was very pleased with our performance. Just know that one game we will need touchdowns instead of field goals. We will get em too. Im very excited about what I saw especially from lee

when your first receiver is open, you don't scan the field, you throw it to him. MSU was stacking the box leaving the receivers in single coverage with no deep safety help, there wasn't a safety to look off most times.

Ill take 21-27 for 200 yds 1/1 anytime from Lee. If he does that we win every game.
I agree about the kickoffs, just awful. Also need Wing back desperately.

Just stop right there....AND STFU. You fkn people are never satisfied, it's always "when we play someone better on defense....etc., etc.,....you do realize he bailed LSU out of the Florida and Alabama game LAST year don't you??? They have had pretty good defenses. He is better than last year also.
I was at the game, you are dead wrong, I saw Lee look off rec's several times during the night.....and btw...wtf should he look off a rec who is getting open constantly.......
You people.....just make it stop....always bitching....and going to wake up having not enjoyed the ride.

MSU's defense will be the second or third best defense LSU faces all year.

I agree with this.... at the Oregon game he only kicked to the 10 yd line a couple of times, most were about the 15... and last night, our punter could have done better, one cold have been longer and the other in the end zone instead of giving our guys a chance to down it... I know Wing was hurt, but...
I dont agree about our Off. I thought they did well, Ford makes some blocks, we allowed too much penetration a couple of plays, but MS played better D than what I was expecting.

Yep, CAntonTiger128, I agree with you!!!

I thought Lee was excellent last night. He had his best game of his career IMO. I just hope he doesn't keep locking in on his receivers. Lee made some excellent passes last night. I personally think he can take us to the promise land.
Yes we need Wing back desperately. Hopefully we can let him do kickoffs. I'd like to know what Miss St avg starting field position was last night.

Ford also missed a blitzing linebacker allowing Lee to get sacked on a 3rd down.

Most of LSU's passing plays seem to be quick hits for Lee, allowing him to not have to improvise. He doesn't seem to do well when the 1st option is taken away. Thus, all those dump passes to the backs, or quick throws laterally to the WRs.

Most of his passes were snap passes at the end of a 3 step drop. There really is no time to scan the field when doing that and it is basically impossible to defend if the WR runs a sharp route and the pass is on the money.
I do remember one pass that Lee actually pump faked to the right and came back to throw down the middle.

On kickoffs only, MSU's starting field position was the 33 yard line.
