This kid is a sophmore at OCS in Monroe. Dad is former QB Sol Graves. He's got a arm and touch. Can't attach link but just put his name in YouTube.

I was assigned to shoot OCS games in weeks one and two and in each Graves was impressive. Granted, the competition (Franklin and Rayville), were not top-notch but he led a smaller classification team to wins each time, largely through his passing ability. Having said that, I DO believe OCS is going to go deep into the playoffs in Class A (I believe).

they are a top 1a school that played their first two games this year against a lower tier 4a school and a 3a playoff regular...he is the qb until the regular starter recovers from having a rib removed...my nephew plays for ocs and is a soph. also

Kinda early to write off a sophomore whose Dad was a QB at LSU.

Kid is still developing. I say lets keep an eye on him. Never know he does show smarts and a pretty good arm.

Dad was a bench warmer who probably got a scholarship because of connections. Kid will be a bench warmer too. He should go to La. Tech.

Sol Graves was one of if not the top QB in LA his senior season.

His stats will be great because ocs is a very pass happy offense, especially with mark laird there now. But he won't get many looks from any top schools. Ocs last 2 quarterbacks have been all.state and neither got any offers to big schools. This trend won't change

Sol Graves could have gone ANYWHERE out of OCS. Miami was after him big time and we all remember how good the "U" was back then and the QB factory it was.
OCS throws the ball alot on the 1A level. They have some great young talent too that will give them a chance to win state every year. Graves and company will be fun to watch these next few years.
