It seems simple to me. On Gameday, put his meal IN the trailer. Then Mike decides to go in the trailer or skip a meal.

He's on the welfare. Why work?

Mike has never roared according to the trainers and probably never will. He's a 600 lb. cat that does what he wants and they never forced him to do anything that he does not want to do.

Since Mike is a female, she must be on her period.

Ok let me spell it out...
How can we get Mike the Tiger more envolved in footaball games? How can we get him on the field? Can we train him to Roar like we did with Mike V?
He is the best mascott in the country, how can we show him off?
are you serious dude? do you wanna walk him around the 50 on a leash? Have you ever owned a housecat? where you able to train it to meow how you wanted it to? it's a cat dude. it's gonna do what it wants. i think having him in his beautiful habitat at the foot of tiger stadium is a pretty damn good way of showing him off. he'll get in the cage and go for a ride this year. it was the first game, chill.

I'm sure the PETA freaks would love that.
Because youre a freak if you have a problem with "whipping" animals for enjoyment. Right?

bunch of peta sympathizers at LSU. they would shite bricks. they have already tried to get students to sign petitions to ban selling chicken tenders.

The only real solution is to basically pay off PETA. Just do what you need to do. Obviously not something inhumane and or dangerous. However, just step outside the super strict guidelines PETA has set up, and just pay the fines after every game. LSU would just have to be careful to not do anything that could actually get Mike taken away.

I understand the size difference between a tiger and an eagle but elephants can be trained to do tricks so why can't a tiger be trained to walk into a cage?
you realize all animals are different. I taught my dog to fetch in a day. But for some reason i cant get my pet snake to bring back the rope and shake hands

If he had to eat all of his meals in the cage - he'd probably skip into it

Maybe a little tiger pheromones and a recoding of a pussy in heat? How about a challenge roar from another male?

put a gazelle at the 50 yard line and see if his hunting skills take over. Have 4 guys holding his leash like they do in CU with ralphie the buffalo. What could go wrong

Um, no.
If someone named a female cat Roscoe, shame on them.

They don't make him roar like Mike V did.
Mike V roared on his own initiative when he saw Mike the Tiger.
Mike IV was the last tiger(and will be, forever) who was coerced to roar by force (a broom handle in some instances, which he typically broke by swatting it with his paw).

Call him Honey Badger. I hear he hates that.
