Other than the monetary impact of tourism, advertisement revenue, TV contracts, and all other gameday revenue. Why doesn't LSU go on the road to a La.Tech, McNeese, ULL, or even Nachitoches every now and then? Like maybe once every 5 years. I imagine there will be a lot of no shows this weekend, still probably more than all the other stadiums mentioned beforehand combined. But why not, give these cities some football revenue. And I know we give these teams a big chunk of change to rent a win. Just saying.

The answer to your question is there is not other reason.

More fans would be able to come into tiger stadium and tailgate around the stadium. The revenue in Ruston/Natchitoches/Lake Chuck wouldn't touch the amount that can be made in BR. Plus f*ck them.

Just a thought. Might help in the recruiting. Of band members.

We can't afford to lose money teams we will crush. Tens of million in impact when you consider all factors. Also they couldn't fit all us crazies in their town or stadium!!

Still almost a sellout and big revenue from PPV sales. If 10,000 people purchase the PPV at $49.99 then LSU and the broadcaster split $500k.

We get 98% of the kids in Louisiana that we want. Even then its Bama/AU/UF stealing 1 recruit a year.

Do you have any idea how few seats those stadiums have?

I'm even against filling up the Superdome for Tulane, even getting the home share. OOC home and home series should be exclusively for teams such as Oregon, Oklahoma, Florida State, North Carolina, Clemson and Ga Tech (abd other BCS conference teams).

There is no good reason for LSU to play in front of an FCS home crowd (Northwestern St. and McNeese) or at a program the caliber of LA Tech, UL-L or UL-M.

They would sell more pay per view if it was an away game. I not up to date on the capacity of these stadiums, but you would think there would be over 50,000 in pay per view to watch the game.
I'm not in no way saying every year, just once in a blue moon maybe, or leap year, or solar eclipse.

The current frequency of "never" is just about right.

Most of them make more visiting Tiger Stadium than they would hosting a sold out home game
