Did he say anything about the 5 passes that hit the Wr in the hands?
No doubt there is room for improvement, but first start in 2 years against #3 in the country....he didn't do bad and will only get better as the ganme slows down for him with more game experience.
This kid's confidence was smashed 2 years ago. give him a couple games to get it back and he will be fine. Scoring points was NEVER his problem in 08.

He's not a true freshman anymore he's got plenty of game experience.

Actually, he did. On a couple of the drops he said..."you gotta help your quarterback our, here". Greg Bowser calls it as he sees it. I think he does a great job in his commentary during games.

The QBs we have just aren't very good. They will never be very good. They are what they are. They are not going to change miraculously after 5 years in the program. they had extremely poor QB coaching and developed terrible habits. Their coaches either were incapable of fixing these habits or just didn't care. Either way, they are damaged goods. the best we can hope for is they make a few plays and don't turn the ball over stupidly. That is what they are---JJ and Lee. Get used to ti.
