Lee had at least two long Passes dropped that should have been caught. He easily should have had over 200 yards passing. Drops and phantom holding

You're right on message.

In reality, some of those were broken up in single coverage. A couple weren't that accurate. It happens. Nothing that you wouldn't see in a typical CFB or NFL game.

The check-downs underneath on the the third and longs weren't so good. Landry getting planted into the turf wasn't cool either.

Okay performance.

ETA: Landry got planted.

A couple of those drawn Pass Interference calls were crucial.

I think there is a Learning Curve going on here. Lee is waiting to be pulled from the game because he was always pulled before, so even though he knows he's the one it will take time to understand he really is staying in. The same thing for the team and the receivers.

If they can go 3 weeks with wins it will all settle out.

The biggest change in Lee is part of the natural maturation of any good quarterback. Lee, minus a few balls, were thrown that were put only where the receiver could make the play not the defender.

Really was a phantom holding call.
That was such a big play too.

A few observations:

--Lee hit an LSU receiver in the hands consistently, except for 2 bad passes and 1 throwaway. (not counting the PI calls, of course)

--D. Peterson is going to be a beast. The loft to him in the 3rd was a thing of beauty.

--Showed good touch on a number of passes--flare to Ford out of the backfield, long throw to Odell that was called back, loft to Peterson.

That playaction to the tight end Peterson is what I always use to run in Madden from goal line formation. Never failed either. Exact same result.

Thank you - great job.

I counted seven drops and four bad passes.

Four of the drops could be attributed to good defense, and two of the bad passes could be attributed to the defense messing up the route.

That doesn't sound like too bad a performance by the passer or the receivers. Nobody, passers or receiver, is perfect.

It just seemed since the really bad dropped passes were three of the first four attempts, we could have had a whole different game had they been caught.

The sack looked even worse than it did in real time.

He played good, a little shaky in the beginning but he got better as the game went along.

While a lot of posters calling Clement out, I think that both passes I saw were good passes and good catch attempts, but Oregon's secondary just made better plays on the ball.

In fact Oregon played pretty good defense most of the night, especially when we tried to pass out of the shotgun. Not sure why LSU would ever abandon the I formation or single back formation in a game.

He probably should have just run for it. I love the fact that he came back on the next play and hit Peterson for the first though. I thought that was one of his better throws on the evening.
