I do not understand whats the motives behind bashing our own players. JJ while maybe not great certainly did what he could to win games for us at LSU since he was thrown into action as a true freshman. He had a bad year last year but thats was a collective effort by the whole team in contributing to the offensive's lackluster rankings from the OL to the WRs. He from all accounts took the team on his shoulders and tried his best to be a better QB throughout the offseason. He made a bad decision in a situation he shouldnt have been in but he is 21 years old and made a mistake(everyone has). he will face the consequences for his actions "if" he was even guilty. I am just tired of reading a bunch of posts that blast our own players this isnt the first time and certainly wont be the last. I just think we should back our players, support them and not be so quick to turn on them...it gives the fanbase a bad name and LSU is suppose to be one of the best in the nation. I understand winning changes everything but it wasnt that long ago that Dinardo was coaching and going to the Peach Bowl was a big deal...11-2 and whether that was inspite of him for some of those games...he still showed up for some of the biggest games of the year including Bama and A&M.

I agree. I always hoped for the best for JJ and still do. I didn't/don't care who was in the spot as long as they were doing reasonably well.

And while I feel bad about fans "bashing" him or any other player, it's hard to feel too bad because those guys have a pretty damn good life as players.
