could this be a possibility? Kasay looked terrible and Hartley might be out ten weeks

The only question that matters is can Daniel or Morestead handle the bounce pass?

he's 41 and has kicked in a Super Bowl. He still managed to miss 2 easy kicks in a preseason game. They need to find someone else...

Maybe if Tampa releases him. Is he still on their roster?

I would take him in a heartbeat.

There are obviously lots of homer picks being many LSU Fans are saints fans, but Josh Jasper is pretty solid IMO. He was a soccer player for a lot of his life and can run pretty fast as well for a kicker. With the kickoffs moved up 5 yards, I think it'll make him that much better for a team. I'd like to see this happen.

Jasper could not possibly any worse than Kasay.

You know you're on an LSU site when...

Anyway, Kasay was more accurate than Hartley last year. It takes practice between a kicker, holder, and snapper. Timing is everything.

He'll be fine.

I actually thought jasper would be a sure bet to make an NFL squad (he still might) the guy never seemed to miss a big kick and frequently drills mid 40's, low 50's

honestly, people might be freaking out a bit too much. kasay is a lefty, which will take chase some time to adjust to. when he missed the first kick, chase immediately apologized and said it was on him.
