Any chance ncaa goes to 13 game saesons?

I could see that happening. More revenue, easier scheduling for future superconferences.
Then they'll say "we can't have a playoff because there would be too many games". Then ten years later they'll add a 14th regular season game...

Drives me nuts how they can expand the Basketball tournament without hesitation IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SPRING SEMESTER but can't see the easiest way to make money with a CFB playoff during the winter break.

part of the (hypocritical) reason there is no playoff is they claim it would make the season too long.
but then they allowed conference title games.
and then they added a 12th game.
and then they let you have an extra game if you play Hawaii.
and then there was the year BYU played 15 friggin games.

I could see it as a way to keep from having a playoff. The NCAA would claim 13 regular season games plus a conference title game and a bowl game makes the season too long already.

It's not really the NCAA that gives a rat's arse; it's the BCS conferences that can't reach an accord. The next step after the rationalizing to 4 conferences will be the formation of a new div within the FBS or a completely new org. The reason is so that they won't share revenue with the have nots.
