We've lost a QB that many wanted to bench (myself not included) and a WR who was never really a WR. The distractions will be used as incentives to do better. Miles is in the people business - this is where he thrives.

No, I'm just a fan. But what I really wanted to be was a negative, patronizing troll adding no value to threads and bringing other people down. Other posters clearly have the said territory covered so we're good.

Outback took Auburn in 2009-10. Cotton has first pick of the West, Chick-fil-A has first pick of the East. Outback has best team left over. They usually pick from the East because fanbases from the East are more likely to travel to Tampa.
If a fanbase that travels as well as LSU was still there when the Outback picked, they'd take us in a heartbeat.

It is actually a welcome break from being the 'next SEC team to win the NC'. I'm happy LSU is off the radar a bit. It gives us time to build our season rather than trying to live up to unreasonable expectations and hype. I'm still hopeful we can be in a BCS game, perhaps the sugar bowl or something.
