No, my uncle grew up right off Belson and his mom's old house is still there on 451 and the property runs all the way back to Belson.
Got ya. I grew up in Moreauville, but live in BR now, that area is where we hunt, so I was just wondering.

Gotcha. Yeah I've hunted all over that part of Avoyelles. Muscle Lake for years (family used to be part of the club), school board property a handful of times, and Pomme de Terre more than I can count. I just moved to Shreveport, but hope to make it back down there once or twice this season.
And I love fishing the bayou. Belson is too choked with weeds last I heard. I'm sure the fish are in there, I just don't know how to get to them.

Mine is built just like Guesswho. Are you the Phantom Duck Blinds guy? Pictures look familiar.

I meant to post earlier but the DIY style threads on the OB are unique to this board (with the exception of teh how to F up a realtionship or beat your peter on the OT. Thanks for the great contribution..

I am completely in agreement. I really get several laughs on the OT but feel more at home on the OD board. I enjoy the sharing of information to make hunting and experiencing the outdoors more obtainable for those starting out.

No I am not the phantom guy. He is from morgan city or somewhere. I am from baton rouge area. We build our blinds similar.

I hate hunting out of boats, but that's nice.
