Just went off shore fishing friday, caught some tuna and cobia. But I was wondering what is the latest you can go deep sea fishing through out the year? Or is it good fishing through out the year? Thinking about trying to go tuna fishing in September October but do not know if that is even possible?

You can go any time...Fall is best IMO....cooler waters closer to shore brings the fish closer

yes...Sept & Oct is good. Cool fronts, but not cold by then.

I would book a trip toward the end of October. The really big yellowfin follow the shrimp boats. It's really exhilarating seeing huge 150+lb yellowfin eating the chum right on side the boat. You usually dont have to run as far in the fall as you would in the summer to catch em.

Damn that sounds awesome. That is how we caught the black fin we caught this past weekend. Chuming behind shrimp boats about 60 miles out.
