You would be correct in that observation or opinion except his father went out and did and interview and repeated his lie. Jefferson knew his father was in contact with the media and let his father lie for him.

That is when it becomes other peoples business

You are correct and Im not saying that other people can't make it their business if they so choose. I'm saying it's beyond ridiculous to make that choice. It doesn't mean anything other than a son lied to his father. Something that has repeated itself billions upon billions of times on this earth. Why should anyone care?
