of their investigation of a bar fight is where your anger should be.
it took them a week for a search warrant? to release the p/r? they call press conferences, the notify the media of the search warrant so they can film them? it's taken a week to interview credible and incredible witnesses that have made the allegations unclear?
very simple. they have had their mind hung up on second degree battery. They have tried to get the evidence to meet the charge. they are obviously loving being on t.v.
i think based on everything that has come to light, the correct and applicable charge should be simple battery.
the fact they haven't made a decision on this or charged anyone tells me their evidence is crap. if that evidence is crap then you don't pursue felony charges. you charge what you got and move on.
miles can't suspend jordan at this point. if you have a son or a player that tells you, dad/coach, i was there, however i wasn't involved in the fight. you suspend him anyway? even if he's telling the truth and the police can't even charge him? If you suspend him for curfew, then you have to suspend 50 players.
it's the poor conduction of this investigation that has put miles in this position and/or a lack of truth by the player.
regardless, it's a freaking joke the police are still fumbling around with this. this is what we got. God help us for Major crimes going on in this town every day.

i think most will agree how shitty and unintelligent the BRPD is...it didnt take a bar fight for me to come to this conclusion

8 bags of evidence from a bar fight? That's a murder case... C'mon...

Yes, because the media would totally not be staking out Jefferson's house in case something happened.
They were only there because the police called them up.
Yup, it's just showboating.
God, are people always this stupid?

Your response tells me you have the same job as the guy who wrote it.
No offense, not calling anyone names, but he/she has no clue on how the real world works much less on how the criminal justice systems works and it is very clear in his/her post.
As someone pointed out above, this isn't CSI.

Apparently they want as many traces of blood as possible.

Hello officer
Wrong again.
Just read the post anyone who knows anything on how the system works knows that what was written is not how things work.

I'm so stupid, then explain the press conference. the media happen to catch them talking to a microphone to explain their interview with players? they were addressing "rumors", what rumors? they were reading the rant?

I do not agree with your post. Three broken vertebra could have caused death an/or permanent paralysis. This was not done in self defense. Miles should have been a stronger leader.

you don't have to agree with me. the fact you, i, the police, or coach miles can't say definitely who is responsible for the broken vertebra says it all.
however you would suspend the kid even he was/is innocent and telling the truth.
p.s. they guy with the broken vertebra isn't the same guy that got kicked supposedly.
how do you know it wasn't self defense? you know who swung the first punch? if it was the kid with the broken vertebra and he connected with one of the football players and they had serious/permanent injury it's ok? my point, any punch or kick could have caused serious injury. so the one that did is the felony vs the one intended to but didn't? they are BOTH responsible. it's the RISK you take when you DECIDE to fight.
