I've got better advice than never lie to the police. Never tell them anything. Maybe tell them your name.

if the TRUTH were to be known, i'll bet EVERYBODY LIED. are you that naive? don't for a minute think that the 4 that got their asses kicked are pure as the driven snow. their "version" of events could probably nominate them for priesthood. do you realize how most bar fights start? somebody said something that pissed somebody else off and it escalated from there. either side could select to quit escalating but they don't and it ends up in fisticuffs. then, everyone tells their story which is fogged in alcohol, prejudice and anger. things are so confusing, some storytellers may even believe some of their concoctions.

How much is all this costing? DNA evidence in a bar fight? Sounds like some DA's and detectives are trying to make a name for themselves.

Nope. They had a warrant. Had it been his attorney they would have provided whatever evidence was needed.
This isn't good. At all.

Really? Because the public statements show that the marine is lying, unless you think Fisher is lying in his PCs.
The lawyer for the losing four claimed that they did not go into the bar, weren't drinking, etc.
Fisher claims he has a video of the marine in the bar before the fight.
Plus, originally the marine was some innocent bystander who didn't even know the driver - we all know thats not true.
Only one side of the story has been told, and its been FULL of holes and inconsistencies.
Oh, but I'm letting my P&G glasses get in the way I guess.

Anyone know if it's possible that JJs attorney WANTED this done? The Stone dude said something about "evidence to convict or clear" JJ.
Isn't it possible? Anyone??

Obstruction of justice.

JJ could have signed a waiver allowing them to search without a warrant. Always make them get the warrants. Same reason a buccal swab wasnt taken the day of the interview from JJ

Obstruction of justice is the charge not perjury.

Its possible they could have wanted it - whether the losing four claim one of them bled all over JJs shoes, shorts, etc., or maybe they had some of his skin under their finger nail (DNA swab), who knows? Those things don't prove anything though - JJ could have been breaking up the fight and gotten the dudes blood on him. I guess it will depend upon what JJ told the police - if he was ten yeards away, and there is blood on it, it would look pretty bad for him.
But JJ(or really Fisher) could have easily steered the BRPD into this - "My client doesn't have those kind of shoes, etc" so they went and got a search warrant.
The warrant pretty much means things will either be ok or really bad. I don't think there is an in between now.

I don't think the lieing to police this is the same in Louisiana as it is in Florida (Casey A.) I don't think you can be charged in our state for that... Under oath is a different story...
